I'm kinda sad.  i talked to my mom last night, and they were leaving for colorado, where we are from, just that they live in omaha now.  anyway, this trip that they are going on, i usually go on.  my dad, my uncle lowell, my brother adam, and my cousin aaron, every year go on a horse back trip.  we go way up in the mountain, outta civilization, for a week.  we ride all day long, stopping for lunch of course, until it starts getting close to time for supper.  we stop and set up camp eat dinner, sit by the camp fire and bond.  all this is in the middle of nowhere up in the mountain of colorado, up around timberline (which is twelve five for those of you who don't know[and twelve five is twelve thousand five hundred feet above sea level{12500ft.}]).  its called timber line because that is the approximate elevation that the trees stop growing, this is due to the rocky soil and the lack of enough oxygen for the tree to flourish.  anyway, its a great time.  you get a horse and that horse is your responsibility.  you brush him, saddle him up, and take all of it off him when the day is over, tie him up, and hobble him when it comes night.  you grow really close to the animal and really start to love him.  its just you and your horse and nature and the guys.  no watches, cell phones, lighters, flashlights, bathrooms, showers, just straight up roughing it the mountain man way.  and this year i cannot go.  this is why i am sad.  as soon as the trip is over, you anticipate the next year, and spend that time between wishing you were up there.  so now i have to spend another year waiting.  its a tradition started by my dad and uncle lowell, and i know that me and my brother adam will carry it on.  man i wish i was up there right now, on my horse.  tear*

(adam, damn uncle lowell, dad, me, and aaron)

ok, so now i have only one job.  no, i didn't get fired.  it was just too much to work all morning at the houli and then go to kc.  so i quit the houli.  last night i met a bunch of people from my work to play beach volleyball.  it was fun.  who knew that volley ball could be even more fun after a couple of drinks.  anyway, i get cable tomorrow, hurray!

i didn't know that you had to pay for this thing.  looks like it'll be just the basics for this poor guy.
so i am in KC now for at least a year.  gotta save some money so i can go back to school.  gotta make it in this world, know what i mean.  so i've been here a week and already have two jobs.  i work at KC masterpiece and Houlihan's.  i'm a busy person now, not really used to that.
